Job Description
Responsibilities
As a Barista at Qamla Ltd, your primary responsibilities will include:
Preparing and serving high-quality specialty coffee drinks to our customers, including espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and other menu items.
Providing exceptional customer service, addressing customer queries and concerns, and ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the cafe.
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards, and ensuring compliance with cafe policies and procedures.
Operating espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment efficiently and effectively, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
Contributing to the visual appeal of the cafe, including maintaining displays, arranging merchandise, and ensuring the overall aesthetic is inviting and engaging.
Participating in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date on new products, promotions, and procedures, and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives, supporting events and promotions, and contributing to the overall success of the cafe.
Requirements and Skills
To be successful as a Barista at Qamla Ltd, you will need to have:
Relevant experience as a Barista in a similar environment, with a strong focus on customer service and quality product preparation.
Knowledge of specialty coffee, including brewing methods, flavor profiles, and equipment operation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Knowledge of cafe policies and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
