About the Job Looking for a team of caregivers to provide 24/7 care for my father in his 70s. He suffers from Parkinson's and vascular dementia. He is still able to walk and, most days, can shower and dress himself. The dementia has caused some confusion as to place and time and also impacts his ability to plan out multi step actions. He will be in Maryland for about a month and then he and my mom are moving into DC. We are looking for a long term relationship that will be beneficial for both our family and the caregiver. Assistance with medication is needed. Some help needed with bathing. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Transportation as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with a dog and CPR / first-aid trained. Family will often be present.
